Camp Details:

Welcome to Being a Human Summer Camp – A Journey Through the Sky and the Self!

This summer —June, July, and August— we’re taking off on an unforgettable adventure through AVIATION, ART, SCIENCE, and PERSONAL EXPRESSION.

At Being a Human, we’ve created a unique and holistic camp where children can learn, have fun, and fully develop their intellectual, emotional, and creative potential.

✈️ Our 2025 Focus: AVIATION

Our young campers will become pilots, engineers, artists, and dreamers as they explore the fascinating world of airplanes.

Classes will be led by licensed pilots, who will teach in a fun and engaging way about air, flight dynamics, and aircraft design. Our goal is to spark curiosity and confidence through hands-on learning experiences.

🎨 Art Classes + Guest Artists

Each week, children will participate in inspiring art workshops where they can freely explore their imagination. We’ll also welcome local guest artists—some of whom have participated in Art Basel Miami—who will share their stories and artwork with the children through motivational talks.

🧠 S.T.E.A.M. Education

We’ll integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics through exciting, hands-on activities: building models, conducting experiments, and exploring how science applies in the real world.

In addition, we’ll have a special guest professor from the University of Miami, who will lead a workshop on sound design and synthesis, introducing children to the world of audio, frequencies, and the power of sound.

🗣️ Extraordinary Conversations

As part of our holistic mission, children will also participate in our signature program “Extraordinary Conversations”, where they will learn to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

🌊 Plus: Pool Days & Endless Fun!

We’ll have special pool days filled with games, laughter, and refreshing summer joy.

📍 Location

We’ll be based in the Event Ballroom at the Hampton Inn in Wynwood, a safe and easily accessible space with convenient drop-off and pick-up areas for families.

🕒 Schedule

• Main hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Early drop-off: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (included at no extra cost)

• Aftercare: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. ($10 per hour)
